Masque of the Black Rose Mel Fan Concept art🌹

Imagining Mel receiving an invitation from Elise to the Silken Danse after Act 2 of Arcane was incredibly exciting. I envisioned her attending the ball in pursuit of uncovering the secrets of the Black Rose, who pressured Ambessa, and hunting for clues about her brother’s death. It felt inevitable that Mel would show up and that idea compelled me to bring the vision to life on canvas. I'm currently working on the splash art for this concept piece as well and will be sharing it once it's complete.

Although concept art isn't my major, working on this felt like navigating through the dark. However, the class I learned from Victor Maury's course at Underpaint Academy were truly invaluable. I’m deeply grateful to Victor for taking the time to provide feedback on my work and for generously sharing his experience. It was an incredible honor and a joy to learn from him.
